Volunteer Signup Form

We must use a 3rd party to access the DBS and check our volunteers - even though the DBS itself does not charge for checks for volunteers. The fee for this is £15. We ask our volunteers to cover this fee because it means we can use fundraised money to equip our volunteers with the CPR manikins used to teach.
Once you have completed your check, we ask you to subscribe to the DBS Update Service. It is free for volunteers and means you won't need a new check each year.

If you already have an enhanced DBS Certificate AND subscribe to the DBS Update Service, then we can request an update on your current certificate - no need to re-apply. If you only have a basic DBS check- we will need to request an enhanced check - so the fee will apply
